This seems an appropriate way to start Black History Month*.
It is not a shock that the teaching American History has become nothing more than a springboard to foist woke propaganda on the minds of the young and impressionable. What is surprising is the an educational institution actually took the time to look into it.

A yearlong study of universities’ introductory U.S. history syllabi found that “identity-focused terms” such as “White supremacy” dominated their content, according to the Jan. 19 report by the National Commission on the Teaching of American History in Our Classrooms.”
Of course, there is only so much time in a day. If that time is being used to slam White history, view every facet of historical fact through a racial lens, and focus on the more obscure aspects of the civil experience, then there simply is not time to cover the more broadly relevant aspects of American history. Some of the items missing from the average introductory American history classes include: The founding of the country, the Civil War [or the War of Northern Aggression as I like to call it], and both World Wars.
In addition, I suspect that the neo-communists teaching these “history” courses know full-well that what they are doing is undermining the very culture that pays their salaries. Why else would they hide the content of the courses? “Mr. Critchlow, an American history professor, noted that ASU researchers could locate syllabi for only 75 of the nation’s top 150 programs online. That included 70 posted by students to the resource-sharing website CourseHero and five published on history department websites.” – ibid
Unfortunately, their efforts seem to be bearing fruit, at least in regard to American History, as the general population is getting dumber. This, in turn, makes it much easier to twist and manipulate the American narrative, as people simply don’t know any better.
“In September, an annual survey from the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Public Policy Center found just 40% of adults knew the First Amendment protects freedom of religion and only 28% recognized it guarantees freedom of the press.
Among teens, only 13% of 8th graders scored proficient in American history on the most recent National Assessment for Educational Progress”

“But Omékongo Dibinga, a professor of intercultural communication affiliated with the Antiracist Research and Policy Center at American University, blamed efforts to whitewash history for the crisis in civic education.
He challenged the ASU report’s claim that “college students are not receiving in their introductory courses the information and knowledge necessary for good citizenship in our nation.”
““Their idea of bad citizenship is anything that disrupts the narrative of wealthy, White, cis-gendered, slave-owning, so-called Christian men,” Mr. Dibinga said.

And yet, the facts speak for themselves [communist woketards hate that]:
This report, produced from a year-long research project conducted by the Center of American Institutions at Arizona State University, shows that many teachers of introductory American history courses simply are not conveying foundational knowledge to their students. Instead, a heavy emphasis rests on racial, ethnic, and gender identity, usually to the detriment of a comprehensive and necessary knowledge of our nation’s past. These professors’ choices stoke the flames of personal grievance and identity politics, speeding up the erosion of our civic culture when they should instead be working to mend it.

Recommendations to correct the problem include: “more inclusion of topics such as the Constitution, federalism, economic expansion, and democratization that allows students to understand not only compromises but the progress that has been made in achieving American ideals,” -Donald Critchlow, director of the ASU Center for American Institutions

Let me be clear: I don’t care one way or the other if Blacks want to celebrate being Black. More power to them. I enjoy celebrating being White. Just stay out of my face, and I’ll stay out of yours. No, what bothers me is there isn’t a designated and officially recognized White History Month.
