Trump and the USAID head-fake: The Great Gaza Land Grab

It’s a bit like the morning after the night you were rocking the beer goggles. At the time, you felt great. After a crappy day (or four years), suddenly all was right with the world. Pool shots ran straight and true. The dance floor was your own fiefdom and your charisma with the ladies was unequaled. Everything seemed like a good idea.

Then… the next morning: you’re not entirely sure how you got to where you are, all your money is gone, and your head is trying to go two equal-and-opposite directions at the same time. You’re either in New Orleans, or suddenly realizing the guy in the White House is, in fact, Donald Trump.

America is at the beginning of the morning after.

It all seemed to be coming up roses that first week: firing neo-communist malcontents; stemming the immigrant flood to a slow trickle; documenting on official White House letterhead that there are, in fact, two, and only two, sexes; and my personal favorite: shutting down the US Agency of International Development, or USAID.

This latter action resonated with me. I hate to say “I told you so”, but in my blog post dated March 29, 2024, titled “Africa Thanks You”—I told you so, documenting the extraordinary waste and impossibly vast sums of tax-payer money being spent overseas by the State Department generally and USAID in particular. It was nice to see the rest of the government catch-up with me. Maybe The Donald read my post. (Just kidding. He has people for that.)

The Beer Goggles:

USAID was one of my “white whales”. According to the United Nations, the US is the largest humanitarian donor in the world. In 2024, the US provided over 40% of the UN’s humanitarian aid budget. The largest recipient for 2023 was Ukraine, but historically (that is to say, when we are not propping up defense-contractor profits in never-ending wars) the largest recipients are often African nations and the second largest was Ethiopia (receiving $1.7 Billion). I have no idea why. Indeed, 2023 also saw more than a billion dollars each go to Jordan, Afghanistan, and Somalia. Close to a billion dollars went to Congo, Syria, Nigeria, Yemen and South Sudan. Each. For one year.

Other fun (and now infamous) expenditures by the State Department and its USAID slush-fund included the $1.5 million to promote DEI in Serbia’s workplaces; $70,000 for production of a DEI musical in Ireland; $47,000 for a transgender opera in Columbia; and $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru. Good times.

To give that a little perspective, the average American worker will pay $524,625 in taxes over the course of their lifetime. So if we pick one American worker, say- you, 13% of the taxes you will pay over your lifetime just went to fund a DEI musical in Ireland. Or the lifetime taxes paid by three US citizens was used to promote DEI in Serbia’s workplaces.

For even more perspective, consider USAID’s mission: USAID was established in 1961 and authorized by Congress in the Foreign Assistance Act. It’s stated mission is/was to foster programs that “focus on improving global health, alleviating poverty, and providing emergency relief in response to natural disasters or conflict as well as enhancing education and strengthening democratic institutions abroad.” In other words, we were fighting for “hearts and minds” against the Soviet Union.

Then compare that to what is going on here: they want to “focus on improving global health” while the life-expectancy has dropped year-over-year in the United States, and is now at 1996 levels; “providing emergency relief to natural disasters”, unless you live in North Carolina and were hit by Hurricane Helene, or watched your home burn in Lahaina; “alleviating poverty” in other countries, while 37.9 million people, 11.5% of the population in THIS country, live in poverty; and “enhancing education and strengthening democratic institutions” unless you are a student in the US, where test scores continue to fall and where we rank 36th in the world for literacy. Yes, let me repeat that: 36th.

With all of that, you can imagine how excited I was when I heard that Saint Elon and Orange Man were shutting down USAID. “Hallelujah!” as the “chosen ones” say. Wonderful! Make America Great Again! We’re bringing our money and priorities home to take care of our own people! Right!?! Right!?!

Um… no.

The Morning After

First, it is important to know that Israel has been, and continues to be overall, the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign aid since its founding, receiving about $310 billion (adjusted for inflation) in total economic and military assistance. The United States has also provided large foreign aid packages to other Middle Eastern countries, particularly Egypt and Iraq, but Israel stands apart. Again for perspective, our $310 billion donation to Israel is equivalent to the lifetime taxes of 591,000 US citizens. Lifetime taxes.

Your tax dollars at work-in Israel.

Since the Israel-Hamas war (aka, Israeli War of Expansion) began on October 7, 2023, the United States has provided over $1.2 billion in humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people with at least $641 million of this aid programmed by USAID. At the same time, we are supply the weapons that cause the need for the aid. Who says there is no such thing as a free lunch: there is if you are Israel. Indeed, over 1,000 companies in the U.S. have signed contracts worth billions of dollars through America’s commitment to help Israel “defend” itself.

What does this have to do with USAID? Simple: the aid going to Israel is not effected by the closure of the US Agency for International Development. Not. At. All. Not one less penny is being sent.

In fact, The Donald has asked for additional funds and military assistance, totaling $8 billion dollars be given to Israel as quickly as possible, including our best 2,000-lbs bombs. I guess it’s time to bounce the rubble.

Needless to say, that killed any buzz I had from the USAID closure pretty quickly.

Then it got worse:

War criminal Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu was, appropriately, the first world leader to visit the Trump/Musk White House. Within hours, seemingly holding each other’s hands and clearly needing to get a room, tRump breathlessly announced that things in Gaza were going swimmingly and that America was going to step in and make a Mar-a-Lago on the Mediterranean of it. They just needed to clear out a few more Palestinians first.

In his own words:

“…the U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip. … We’ll own it and will be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs [which we supplied- ed.] and other weapons on the site. We’ll level the site and get rid of all the destroyed buildings. Just level it out and create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area.”

While all this wonderful rebuilding is going on, the Gazans will have to find somewhere else to live. Or die. Either works.

Of course, there are challenges: most of the people won’t volunteer to leave. Forcibly removing the population from Gaza to create Mr. Trump’s “Riviera of the Middle East” will be labeled by much of the world as ethnic cleansing and could involve further serious human rights abuses.

Likewise, Egypt and Jordan, the two most likely (and closest) recipients of a Palestinian diaspora, do not want them: in addition to putting a strain on their own infrastructures (remember who USAID was giving billions of dollars to? That’s right, Egypt and Jordan), the political consequences of a large Palestinian influx would be destabilizing and “breathe legitimacy into the Muslim Brotherhood’s challenge to the throne in Jordan and to power in Egypt.” Furthermore, there is a high probability that many of those new refugees would end up in the U.S. and Canada.

None of these considerations seemed to bother the talking-heads in Israel the slightest, who were nothing short of effervescent in their praise of Jew-in-all-but-name Trump:

Former Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who resigned from the coalition government along with his party over the hostage release ceasefire deal, posted two messages to 𝕏 expressing his enthusiasm. In English he wrote, “Donald, this looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”

In Hebrew, he said, “The only solution to Gaza is to encourage the migration of Gazans. When I said this time and again during the war that this was the solution to Gaza, they mocked me. Now it is clear: this is the only solution to the Gaza problem – this is the strategy for the “day after.” I call on the Prime Minister to announce the adoption of the plan as soon as possible and to begin immediate practical progress.”

Hmm… “the only solution”…. That wouldn’t be a “final solution”, would it?

Ultra-Orthodox Shas party leader Aryeh Deri, responded to Trump, saying, “You are acting as a messenger of God for the Jewish people, and you have achieved great success because of your steadfast stand on the right side of the people of Israel against all its enemies.”

And, of course, Bunk-Buddy Bibi summarized it nicely, “I’ve said this before, I’ll say it again: you are the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House.”

The visit was more than a diplomatic formality; it was a strategic declaration, reinforcing that the US-Israel alliance is not only beneficial but essential in substance and perception. The meeting of US President Donald Trump and Netanyahu, two leaders, sent a clear signal that America and Israel stand united because of their shared values as well as their mutual displeasure with certain international bodies – and they are unafraid to display this alliance to the world. ~ Jerusalem Post 2/8/2025

Of course, some in the US wrote off his wild proposal as nothing but a negotiating tactic. For example, Jewish-American journalist Barak Sella, using quotes from Trump’s The Art of the Deal (ghost written by Jew Tony Schwartz) assumes the role of tRump apologist by suggesting that his Gaza proposal was really meant to placate the Zionist Jews in Israel while a more moderate solution is pursued: A sort of negotiation-by-hyperbole. “While many focused on the boldness of this shocking proposal itself, they may be missing the more subtle diplomatic choreography at play…The conventional interpretation sees Trump attempting to pressure Arab states like Egypt and Jordan into accepting Palestinian refugees. However, this fundamentally misreads both the regional dynamics and Trump’s sophisticated negotiating approach.”

I’m sorry, but I must have missed that lesson in the poly-sci class where being a jackass is a “sophisticated negotiating approach.”

Trump says, “It means that we want to give people a chance at a life. They have never had a chance at life because the Gaza Strip has been a hell hole for people living there.” He fails to mention that it has been a hell hole because of Israel’s prior blockade of the region, and the unremitting and unabashed bombing of civilian targets since this most recent land-grab began. Again, mostly with our bombs.

Part of what he is doing is throwing his bunk-buddie Bibi a bone: Trump avoided publicly leaning on Netanyahu at all, instead praising his leadership and seemingly offering him a political lifeline by getting fully behind an idea — emptying Gaza — that has long been endorsed by the Israeli far right, and thereby giving ultranationalist lawmakers an incentive to keep the government intact.

But in reality, tRump is once again proving that he sides with whoever whispered in his ear last: his current ass-hattery is completely consistent with a plan proposed in 2019 by his Jewish son-in-law Jared Kushner, the disarmingly named “Peace to Prosperity” plan, which included turning Gaza into a tourist destination (“Riviera of the Middle East” anyone) and spending $50 Billion on infrastructure projects. The only thing standing in their way then was how to clear the people out of Gaza and raze the buildings: The Palestinians were not thrilled with the idea. For some reason, they doubted that Kushner’s Jewish led “global investment fund to lift the Palestinian and neighboring Arab state economies” was really in their best interest.

They declined the offer.

But, cue the Gaza invasion, mix in a never ending stream of US aid and munitions, and a few years later: voila, problem solved.

While accurate figures from an active war-zone can be difficult to come by, in the past 15 months, at least 46,707 people in Gaza have been killed, which includes about 18,000 children. The death toll means that one out of every 50 people has been killed in Gaza. Many analysts and rights groups believe the real number killed is far higher. 85,000 tonnes of bombs have been dropped on that small patch of land. It is estimated it could take ten years to clear the rubble. 1.9 million people have been displaced, with over 80% living in temporary shelters.

So much for the beer-goggles. This hang over is going to hurt. Just like the Allies pyrrhic victory in World War II, we didn’t win the last election: the Jews did, and tRumps recent actions prove it. Shuttering the USAID department is good PR, but that is all it is: We continue to pour money into other people’s graves overseas. And with less going to DEI programs in Timbuktu, there’s more money to send to Israel.

As Adolf Hitler said in August 1920 at the Hofbrähaus, ,”The Jew is everywhere a Jew, who resolutely represents the interests of his race, whether consciously or unconsciously”, and it is long past time for the American media, and the American people, to grow a pair and acknowledge the truth about the Israeli land grab and our role in it. The Zionists have one of their own in the White House, and he is doing all he can to Make Israel Great Again. We must demand that our so-called “leaders” stop with the theatrics and meaningless gestures and admit that what our government is doing is wrong. Plain and simple. It’s a slap in the face to the American taxpayer, and once again plants us firmly on the wrong side of history.

I was hopeful when Trump came into office, because when DOGE started finding all this money, I said to myself, “GREAT! Now we can bring that money home and it can serve the people that need it; vets, homeless, mental health, etc.” No, instead it will always go to the cause of the Jews. Why can’t we stop sending money to someone else, and for once enrich ourselves with the bread of our labor? Adolf Hitler understood that. We haven’t had a leader with the balls like that, and it’s a shame. Thanks for another great blog post, and well spoken as always.
