Schnell Post: New cartoon- right on time

[Podcast version found here or on podcast page above]

Our comrade Johann Hauptmann never fails to hit the mark with his short-but-sharp Cartoons.

Here is the latest:

Previous cartoons can be found here.

What makes the timing of this illustration uncanny is that when it was received I did a quick search, out of curiosity, for the latest in DEI (Didn’t Earn It, Don’t Ever Interview) news.

Low-and-behold, the Daily Wire reported on this very subject just three days ago:

Nice face Joe. I feel the same way.

The Biden-Harris Defense Department paid outside organizations millions of taxpayer dollars to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, including race-based career advancement programs, in the U.S. military, documents shared exclusively with The Daily Wire reveal.

In a way, this serves as an update to a previous post on this blog dated July 13. The Daily Wire article highlights recently disclosed documents that show not only the egregious DEI push in our military, but also how it has become a conduit to funnel money to private DEI consultants. “The outside organizations received taxpayer dollars to set up hiring pipelines that gave candidates preferential treatment on the basis of race and sex, advise the government agency on DEI policy, and combat internal and external resistance to said policies…The Defense Department went beyond pushing DEI on members, paying academic institutions to build career pipelines that disadvantaged men and white people on the basis of their sex and race. “

Examples include:

  • The Department of the Navy awarded the University of Missouri Kansas City $760,000 to design a program that would give preferential treatment to non-white students and women.
  • The Defense Department awarded Cornell University around $202,000 “to provide Diversity training that is mission imperative to ensure readiness and addressing discriminatory behavior from a cognitive perspective.” [note: “cognitive perspective”- that’s troubling. Thought police anyone?]
  • The Defense Department also paid the RAND Corporation an undisclosed sum of money for a project titled “Research and Analysis Support for the Department of Defense Board on Diversity and Inclusion…RAND urged the Department of the Air Force to “develop techniques and tools to mitigate resistance” to the DEI agenda among its employees and enlisted members.”
  • The Defense Department paid DEI consulting agency BCT Partners just under $2 million in 2021 to create a “DEI Action Plan” for DOD-operated schools, called the DOD Education Activity.
Actual DOD Mission Statement from their Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility Strategic Plan.
I think I just threw-up a little.

And on it goes. If there is a “new” Administration in November, it will be interesting to see if things start to change—or if we’ve drifted so far out to sea in the DEI ocean that we will never see the shore again.

I’m not holding my breath.

If Biden and Harris are for Americans then, why are they paying — our tax dollars — to an outside organization to figure out how to decide diversity and inclusion. At least Donald Trump isn’t going to pay an outside country for business advice!

This is affirmative action all over again. I remember a white guy getting denied a job where I once worked at driving the snow plough and picking up garbage. They hired a black guy instead because they had to… and that black guy wrecked every truck they gave him! I don’t feel like I am being “racist” by saying if you are not qualified for the position then you really shouldn’t be working it.

I agree completely. Funny how one has to add the disclaimer that they are not being racist when simply stating something that should be common sense. Can you imagine these pro-DEI hire knuckleheads on the operating table being told by the nurse, “Just relax. The surgeon will be here in a moment. He’s not qualified, but he really helped us meet our DEI hiring quota.”
