Just saying.

There are enough talking-heads sucking the oxygen out of the room without me piling on. But as a pro-Nazi website could be misconstrued as a platform for extremest action, I would like to take this opportunity to: 1) remind everyone that violence really is not the answer or a successful agent of change, and will only further empower those shadowy figures and organizations that actually run this country, and 2) offer my heartfelt condolences to the families of the wounded and especially to the family of Corey Comperatore, who was killed while shielding his loved-ones from the gunfire.

A more in-depth post on how the use of violence to effect political change is ill-advised can be found here.

I agree, not enough attention has been paid to the innocent bystanders who were killed and injured.

What I want to know is how an armed person could get close enough to hit his target without being thoroughly searched by Secret Service? Trump was, and still is at risk for assassination. No one should have been allowed anywhere near him without being cleared first.

It seems to me that the primary criminal was this POS ANTIFA. The secondary criminals are the Secret Service who didn’t do their jobs properly. It seems to me that Kimberly Cheatle, Director of the Secret Service should spend more time on security and less time on DEI. I don’t want to come off like a sexist, but I’d rather be protected by several big, tough guys, rather than one tough guy, a couple of women, and a homosexual. I don’t mean to imply that was who was protecting Trump, that was just a hypothetical example based on DEI standards.

Quite agree. Interesting that this happened right after I did the Military DEI post. For now we can assume general incompetence, but there’s this … feeling… that something more is going on. Case in point: shooter was in a BlackRock commercial, has NO social media footprint, and little background. Hmmm. Cheatle was director of Global Security for PepsiCo before becoming head of the Secret Service in 2022. PepsiCo is owned by BlackRock (and Vanguard, and State Street). BlackRock is also one of the top investors in any and every defense contractor you can name. Trump will probably end the war in Ukraine, and Israel. That’s bad for defense contractors. So….
Hate to be the one wearing the tin-foil cap. But there is this odd disturbance in the Force…

I once went to see Obama during his second term. Nobody was checked by security/ no metal detectors or anything and I was front row not even 50 feet away from the president.

Watching the news interviews after the Trump incident. One man stated that this was his first time ever going to a rally and that he never was interested in politics… He also stated that he had a feeling that if something could ever go bad then that would have been the place.
