As blog titles go, there were any number of options that would have worked: Reap what you sow; Who saw this coming; Watching rabid dogs fight… etc
I’m going to keep this short, as 1) You are all smart enough not to believe any singular news source anyway; 2) It is an ongoing situation, and 3) there really isn’t that much to say: it is what it is.
The purpose of this post is not to pick a side in the conflict: I don’t have a dog in the fight, never plan to visit the Middle East, and other than fearing a potential surge in Jewish emigration to the US, couldn’t care less.
What does bug me are singular narratives foisted on the US public by a biased (and largely Jewish controlled) media, which is then asked to send billions of dollars in cash and military equipment to Israel, all while avoiding the elephant in the room: They had it coming.
So I offer the following quotes and links (shown as the “Source”, which are links to the site where the quote originates) in an effort to balance the narrative and confront those who have swallowed the Zionist propaganda hook-line-and-sinker, because no one plays “the victim” better than Israel. Heck, they make BLM look like the amateur upstarts that they are:
Israeli lawmaker blames pogroms against Palestinians for ‘terrible’ attacks [note, this is regarding the 11-day war with Hamas in 2021]:
“We have been warning time and time again… everything is going to erupt and everybody is going to pay a price – mainly innocent civilians on both sides. And unfortunately, that is exactly what happened,” he said.
“The Israeli government, which is a fascist government, supports, encourages, and leads pogroms against the Palestinians. There is an ethnic cleansing going on. It was obvious the writing was on the wall, written in the blood of the Palestinians – and unfortunately now Israelis as well,” he added.
Five ways Israeli law discriminates against Palestinians:
“There are currently more than 65 Israeli laws that discriminate against Palestinian citizens in Israel and Palestinian residents of the Occupied Palestinian Territories…”
How the United States helps to kill Palestinians:
“U.S. policy has perpetuated the crisis and atrocities of the Israeli occupation by unconditionally supporting Israel in three distinct ways: militarily, diplomatically and politically.”
Israel’s occupation of Palestinian Territory is ‘apartheid’:
“There is today in the Palestinian territory occupied by Israel since 1967 a deeply discriminatory dual legal and political system, that privileges the 700,000 Israeli Jewish settlers living in the 300 illegal Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank…there are more than three million Palestinians living under an oppressive rule of institutional discrimination and without a path to a genuine Palestinian state that the world has long promised, is their right”.
Intent to maintain domination:
“A stated aim of the Israeli government is to ensure that Jewish Israelis maintain domination across Israel and the OPT. The Knesset in 2018 passed a law with constitutional status affirming Israel as the “nation-state of the Jewish people,” declaring that within that territory, the right to self-determination “is unique to the Jewish people,” and establishing “Jewish settlement” as a national value. To sustain Jewish Israeli control, Israeli authorities have adopted policies aimed at mitigating what they have openly described as a demographic “threat” that Palestinians pose. Those policies include limiting the population and political power of Palestinians,…”
[note: Replace the word “Jewish” with “White”, and suddenly you are a fringe neo-nazi white supremacist!]
There are a lot more examples, of course. But I’m going to pause here and let the situation develop a bit. However, I do want to call out one item of interest: isn’t it odd that just as we begin slowing down the amount of money being sent to Ukraine… Look! Another war! Quick! Send money and guns!
For additional reading, a final quote- and this is from the horse’s mouth:
U.S. Foreign Aid to Israel:
$- Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II…
$- To date, the United States has provided Israel $158 billion (current, or non-inflation-adjusted, dollars) in bilateral assistance and missile defense funding….
$- Israel is the first international operator of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, the Department of Defense’s fifth-generation stealth aircraft, considered to be the most technologically advanced fighter jet ever made. To date, Israel has purchased 50 F-35s in three separate contracts, funded with U.S. assistance, and has taken delivery of 36.
$- Since 1973, Israel has received a total of approximately $1.69 billion in grants from the State Department’s Migration and Refugee Assistance account (MRA) to assist in the resettlement of migrants to Israel.
