There is a lot to unpack here. I think I’ll save the unpacking for the next post (sort of a “Part B” to this post). The previous installment introduced methods by which the Soviets would undermine and transform the nation and culture of an enemy.

In researching Yuri, I came across the following video. It’s called “Demoralization: What Yuri Bezmenov Didn’t Tell You” and does a fantastic job of filling in some missing pieces. There are some real highlights here, but I’ll wait to break those out next time. For now, pull up a chair, grab some popcorn, and spend 14 minutes learning how Allied propaganda and post-war de-nazification have come back to bite us in the ass.
